NWU Showcase Teams (U15-U19)
Having the opportunity to showcase in front of college coaches at some of the best events and venues in the country. All CLUB vs CLUB teams at HS ages will have the chance to showcase at either the NL Showcase Series or their P.R.O. events. If qualified for Nationals, this will be another showcase weekend.
NWU National Competition Teams (U13-U19)
Competition for teams competing in the USYS CLUB vs CLUB conferences coming up against teams from AK, OR, UT & WA. Teams can advance to Far West Regionals via this platform. Some teams may also play in P.R.O. which they will play two events, competing against some of the top clubs in the country and have the chance to advance to Nationals
NWU CLUB (U9-U19)
State–based regional competition focusing in the RCL for league play competing at appropriate levels vs other clubs within WA. Appropriate level state competitions either with the Championship or the Presidents Cup.
NEXT GEN & ACADEMY (U7—U8)
NEXT GEN: For U7 players and focuses on skill development in a structured, positive and fun environment. Technical development of passing, receiving, dribbling, and finishing.
ACADEMY: For U8 players and is our entry level to club soccer. Focuses on skill development in a structured, positive and fun environment. Play weekend games vs other clubs.
FOUNDATIONAL (U4—U8)
MICRO PLAYERS: For U4-U5 and is an intro to soccer. Touches on the ball in a fun, structured environment.
NORTHWEST UNITED PLAYER PATHWAY
NWU is known for being one of the best player development clubs within the state. This is demonstrated consistently by our continued success on the field and also measured by our style of play, results and well rounded technical players.
NWU has put heavy focus on our curriculum and building a top level professional coaching staff. With that, we have strived to create pathways and opportunities for all players within the club. Over the years we have attained club status in various elite programming which is illustrated below. We firmly believe and have proven to give any athlete the opportunities and path to attain their goals from playing in High school and a good club player to College, Professional and International level.
All these paths give our players all the exposure, experience at the top level and competition needed. With our partner the Seattle sounders we can also offer high level exhibition games with them and other MLS clubs such as the Vancouver Whitecaps.
