ABOUT US

NWU IN THE COMMUNITY

Northwest United is a proud partner in the Skagit Valley community. From helping with food drives, community projects, we strive to help build our neighborhood through soccer.

"United Project" - led by our DOC Kristian Powell for the purpose of serving our community and providing a place for children to be able to participate in soccer practice and games, while also offering mentorship and growth within the lives of these young athletes!

The "United Project" is FREE and all players in our community are welcome to join! Register today at nwunited.org under the "United Project" page!

Our mission with the "United Project" is to stand UNITED with our community and transform the lives of our young athletes by promoting better physical, social and mental health through the sport we all love, soccer!

Kristian Powell - "Many Kids might not get this opportunity and I want to try to reach out to them to come learn in a safe fun environment with us and grow as people. I believe that if we can change even one life doing this project for the community then it’s worth it."

Our goal is to provide all participants with a nourishing meal each night of training, along with a "United Project" t-shirt to all players! In efforts to accomplish our goal of helping our community donations are welcome and can be made at nwunited.org under the "United Project" page! With the support of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and our community we can stand united and together be the change in our community and the lives of our young athletes!

UNITED WE CAN

In partnership with Tri Parish Food Bank, "United We Can" is a club wide food and clothing drive to support and promote unity in our community. Sharing the beliefs of Tri Parish Food Bank, our mission is to provide food and essential necessities to individuals as well as families throughout Skagit County without discrimination of any kind.
Kati Ortiz (Tri Parish Ambassador & NWU alum) - "The Tri Parish Food Bank consistently serves over 375 families per week through a drive thru food bank. This food bank depends on community volunteers and donations to help achieve our mission. We welcome everyone and always check in to see how people are doing. One of the best things we share is a simple smile, and a conversation."

COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER

Cookie Dough Fundraiser: As we strive to create pathways and opportunities within our community through the beautiful game, our aim is to grow soccer in our community and make next level soccer more inclusive!
With the support of Adrenaline Fundraising NWU presents their annual cookie dough fundraiser! Our goal is to provide an opportunity for our players and families to raise funds at zero cost. Players participating in the fundraiser will be selling cookie dough to family and friends, while also earning amazing prizes for their hard work!
With our aim of helping players raise funds to offset club cost, 100% of the earnings are directly applied towards each individual player's club tuition.
Through this wonderful fundraiser we've helped raise over $60,000 for players and we can't wait to do more! Our next fundraiser is scheduled for June 2023!
