Camping near Skagit River Park

  • MOUNT VERNON RV PARK.   About 7 miles from Skagit River Park.   Located next to downtown Mount Vernon in the heart of Skagit Valley. 81 full service sites including large pull throughs.  Picnic tables, immaculate restrooms with free showers, 50-amp service.   • BAY VIEW STATE PARK.  On Padilla Bay, about 15 miles from Skagit River Park. The main attraction for this park is more than 1,200 feet of saltwater shoreline. Located seven miles west of Burlington along Bay View-Edison Road, the park opens onto the 11,000 acres of Padilla Bay designated as National Estuarine Sanctuary. The Breazeale Padilla Bay Interpretive Center is just a half mile north and a paved bicycle trail connects the two sites. Camping, picnic tables and a covered beach shelter are available at the park and a public boat launch is three blocks away. The park is open year-round.
  • CONWAY PARK.  On the Skagit River.  About 10 miles from Skagit River Park. Located below the South Fork Bridge over the Skagit river, Conway Park offers seasonal camping May 1 to Oct. 15. Suggested overnight camp fee is $5. The park also has ballfields, a boat launch, restrooms and picnic tables.
  • BURLINGTON KOA.  About 10 miles north of Skagit River Park.  From I-5 Northbound Exit 232 north on old Highway 99 3.5 miles.  From I-5 Southbound Exit 236 left Bow Hill, right on old Highway 99.  Information: (360) 724-5511
  • SKAGIT COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS.  About 7 miles from Skagit River Park.  Year round camping. 40+ camp sites with 20, 30 & 50 amp service. Large groups welcome!
