Earlier in June, the Wolverhampton Wolves brought several trainers over to host a training/ID camp for Northwest United players. This three day camp was a great experience for those who attended, as they got to train with top level coaches. There were a handful of players who were extended an invitation to attend the National Camp in Georgia!
One player, William Waldrop, who has been with Northwest United for four years, was given the opportunity and decided to take hold of it! William says he wasn't expecting to go this far in the camp, but he has learned a lot from his experiences with the Wolves. He received good feedback when he went to Georgia, and also received another invitation to attend the 2017 European Training Experience.
William is grateful for his time with Northwest United, and gives a special thanks to his coach, Kristian Powell, for his guidance and support in helping him become a good soccer player.
Best of luck to you William! We look forward to hearing about your trip to Europe!
