Elite Training for Elite Players

What is the Elite Training Program?

Northwest United FC offers extra training sessions for the top 5-7 players from each black team with the club. The players are selected by the coach of their team and the Directors through ability, dedication, attitude and commitment to their team and the game. This is an opportunity for our top players to receive guidance and training to prepare for any further opportunities available now and in the future such as: The Washington State EPD teams, the PSPL Academy, Sounders Discovery Program, College, or, for a few select players, the ID2 program which is a pathway to the National team.

Elite trainings are run by Marcos Vega, the boys junior academy director. Through his knowledge and experience gained over his years at NWU, he provides technical and tactical sessions that will allow the players in our club extra training and motivation. Using the club's curriculum, these programs will allow players to cover all aspects of soccer with our elite players in the club.

Please see the Calendar for dates and times of the Elite Player Trainings. The trainings will occur most months, twice a month on Friday nights.

EPT is for recommended black team players, please reach out to your coach if interested.
