Field Marshal Duties

We need at least 6 adults for the entire day from 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM. 3 from each of the teams listed on the schedule. Please sign in at the Tournament Directors’ table before you start your shift and at the end of your shift.

Field Marshals

  1. Field Marshals are the Tournament Directors’ eyes and ears on the fields. Report any problems to the Tournament Directors immediately.
  2. Keep the grounds clean. Empty garbage cans, pick up trash, and monitor toilets.
  3. Answer questions from our guests. You will have a complete game schedule to refer to and answer questions.
  4. Monitor field conditions; check and repair nets, etc.

Parking

  1. Keep cars from parking in no parking areas (along the barb-wire fence next to the dike on the east side). We must keep 2-way traffic open around the perimeter of the park for emergency vehicles.
  2. Direct RVs to RV parking areas ONLY.

Communication.

  1. Our form of communication is by radio, each of the 6 Field Marshals will have one as well as the Tournament Directors and Referee assignor. Pick them up at the beginning of your shift.
  2. Keep your radio on and where you can hear it.

Emergencies

Report all emergencies to the Directors immediately. We will call on our Field Marshals to help us direct Aid cars and ambulances to injured players.

Gator

We have a Gator; it is for trainers and directors use in case of emergency and to pick up garbage. It is to be driven by adults only.
