Earlier in 2016, Delaney Watson made a verbal commitment to play soccer at Boise State. Last week she made it official by signing her letter of intent to join the team this coming Fall Season. We are thrilled to see this commitment turn into a reality for our player.
Watson was named the Skagit Valley Herald's Girls Soccer Player of the Year and has continued to represent herself well in her current season under coach Nathaniel White. The article can be read here.
Teammate to Morgan Drawdy, Watson has also been coached by Kristian Powell for seven years. While it is always sad to watch long time Northwest United players graduate and move on, it is even more exciting to watch them pursue their soccer careers at such a high level.
Best of luck to you, Delaney!
